Cutimed® Sorbion® Sana Multi Star is a sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming, superabsorbent wound dressing. The atraumatic dressing consists of a strong water-retaining superabsorbent core, an in-between layer of hypoallergenic polypropylene and an outer wound contact layer made of polyethylene film with three-dimensional perforations.

• Wear time: Cutimed Sorbion Sana Multistar can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on wound conditions and saturation of the wound dressing. It is recommended to change the dressing every 24 hours initially, moving to less frequent changes as necessary. A completely soaked dressing must always be avoided.
• How to remove: To remove Cutimed Sorbion Sana remove fixation tapes, lift one corner of Cutimed Sorbion Sana, gently remove the dressing and discard. Adherence of wound deposits to Cutimed Sorbion Sana is a desirable effect, contributing to wound cleansing (soft debridement).
