Cutimed® Sorbion® Sana Gentle is a sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming, superabsorbent wound dressing. The atraumatic dressing consists of a strong water-retaining superabsorbent core, an in-between layer of hypoallergenic polypropylene and an outer wound contact layer made of polyethylene film with three-dimensional perforations.

• Wear time: Cutimed Sorbion Sana Gentle can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on wound conditions and saturation of the wound dressing. It is recommended to change the dressing every 24 hours initially, moving to less frequent changes as necessary. A completely soaked dressing must always be avoided.
• How to remove: To remove Cutimed Sorbion Sana Gentle remove fixation tapes, lift one corner of Cutimed Sorbion Sana, gently remove the dressing and discard. Adherence of wound deposits to Cutimed Sorbion Sana Gentle is a desirable effect, contributing to wound cleansing (soft debridement).
