Cutimed® Sorbion® Border Sacrum is a sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming, self-adhesive wound dressing, offering atraumatic dressing changes. The dressing consists of a strong water-retaining superabsorbent core, a wound contact layer from a hypoallergenic polypropylene, a silicone adhesive border and a breathable, waterproof backing from polyurethane which allows to shower.

• Wear time: Cutimed Sorbion Border should be changed as often as clinically indicated and must be not fully saturated. Cutimed Sorbion Border Sacrum can remain in place for heavily exuding wounds, up to 4 days. For wounds with moderate exudation, the dressing wearing time can be extended to 7 days.
• How to Remove: To remove Cutimed Sorbion Border lift one corner, gently remove the dressing and discard. Adherence of wound deposits to Cutimed Sorbion Border is a desirable effect, contributing to wound cleansing (soft debridement).
